These plans will guarantee Saudi Arabia's success as the first country to host a 48-team tournament in one country by combining the rich football heritage with our intense passion for the game. With an emphasis on excellent locations and flawless fan experiences, the Kingdom hopes to raise the standard for international football competitions.
 
Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha and Neom are the futuristic desert city areas located on the coast of the Red Sea are currently under construction. 8 out of 11 stadiums where the FIFA tournament will happen will be located in Riyadh, which is the capital of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arab Ambitious Plans Regarding to Construction of Each Stadium

 

1. The King Fahad Sports City Stadium.

With a capacity of 70,200, the King Fahad Sports City Stadium is an existing structure going through renovations that should be finished by 2026 or 2028. It will host group stage matches, as well as matches in the Round of 32, Round of 16, quarter finals, and semi finals.

 

2. The New Murabba Stadium and ROSHAN Stadium

Group stage and Round of 32 matches will be held at the New Murabba Stadium and ROSHAN Stadium, which are both expected to be finished by 2032 and have capacities of 46,010 and 46,000, respectively.


3. The King Abdullah Sports City Stadium

The King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, an existing location that will undergo renovations by 2032. Matches for the group stage, round of 32, round of sixteen, and quarterfinals will be held at and the stadium possesses 538432 seats.

 


4. New King Salman International Stadium

The new King Salman Stadium, which has a capacity of 92,000 and will serve as Saudi Arabia's national stadium for both the finals and the opening matches.The stadium, which is close to Riyadh, is scheduled to open in 2029 and serve as the national stadium for Saudi Arabia. It will host both the World Cup Final and its opening ceremony during the competition.

 

5. Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Sports City Stadium

Named for Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City is a 22,500-seat stadium located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is primarily used for football matches. And the stadium is refurbishing for the Fifa world cup 2034 and increasing the seats capacity with latest innovations.


6. Aramco International Stadium

The Aramco Stadium will be located in Al Khobar , Saudi Arabia Al Khobar is where the Aramco Stadium will be situated. It can accommodate 47,000 audience members in seats, and several national and international games are planned to be held there including the great Fifa World cup finals.

 

7. South Riyadh Stadium

As its name implies, the South Riyadh Stadium is another stadium inspired by the "principles of Salmani architecture" and will be situated south of the capital. It will have a transparent roof on top and be covered in many reddish-brown vertical fins with the capacity of around 47,060 seats.

 


8. Jeddah Development Stadium

The stadium, which has air conditioning and a 45,000 seat capacity, is designed to combine modern technology with regional architectural style. To regulate temperature and sunlight, kinetic elements would be installed on the roof.


9. Qiddiya Coast Stadium

The Qiddiya Coast Stadium, which will hold group stage, Round of 32, and Round of 16 matches, is scheduled to be completed in 2032 and has a 46,096 capacity.This World's leading sports destination is home to Saudi's Al Nasr and Al Hilal football clubs.


10. Neom Stadium

It claims that Neom Stadium will be "run entirely on renewable energy, generated primarily from wind and solar sources" and that it will be located more than 350 meters above the ground. It is projected that construction will be finished in 2032.


11. Khalid University Stadium

The King Khalid University Stadium is located in Abha, which has a 45,428 capacity and is currently scheduled for renovation by 2032, will serve as the backdrop for group stage, round of 32, and round of 16 matches.
