It is advised to reach your polling station early in the morning to avoid long queues.

Upon entering your polling station look for the voter list, displaying names and assigned polling booths. Then proceed to your designated polling booth.

Visit the polling officer table, who will verify your original CNIC. They will confirm your identity by matching your photograph on the electoral roll and ensuring your name is on the voter list.

The polling officer will mark your thumb with non-erasable ink, obtaining your thumb impression on the electoral rolls as proof that you appeared for voting.
-
Move to the next table, where the assistant presiding officer will provide you with two ballot papers, one for the national assembly and one for the provincial assembly. Stamp your thumb impression on the counterfoils of each ballot paper.
-
Ensure the assistant presiding officer signs the back of each ballot paper and counterfoil to validate your vote. Invalid ballots (ballots without signature) may be challenged during the counting process.
-
Proceed to the polling booth, it will be a screened dice or table created for voter’s privacy. Decide who to vote for in advance as extra ballot papers will not be issued. Once stamped, votes cannot be changed.
-
Report any attempts of pressure or fraudulence to the polling officer immediately.
-
Vote with the help of the stamp provided by the assistant presiding officer. Make sure you place the stamp inside the candidate's box of your choice. Each vote must be marked for a single candidate only.
-
Allow the ink to dry and fold the ballot paper as instructed by the assistant presiding officer.
