FCC starts admissions in Executive MBA

Lahore, Forman Christian College University has opened admissions in Executive MBA. Application forms are available at FCC Admissions Office. Application from must be submitted before February 28, 2013.

The program is based on 2 years with 14 imparted modules and a simultaneous project, comprising a total of 66 credit hours. The course would be imparted by the regular Business Department faculty. Regular reviews would be commenced to certify the University academic standards.

The Program Structure consists of 14 modules, comprised of five days (from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm). There will be 48 contact hours per module with online assignments. Each module consists of 4 credit hours. However, the MIS segment also contains a Business Simulation and consists of 6 credit hours. While a project will be assigned during the second year and is comprised of 8 credit hours.

Candidates will be judged on each module. Regular measures included exercises, assignments (including case analyses), presentations and quizzes. A candidate will not be able to get degree until he/she has completed all the modules successfully. In case a candidate failed to pass a module for academic or non-academic reasons, another evaluation system would be made under faculty supervision.  However, candidates can only take limited number of “retakes”.

To get admission a candidate must have minimum 14 years education plus 4 years work experience. In-house test (FMAT) or GMAT/GAT and interview will be held.

Punjab University, Institute Of Education and Research has started admissions in MPhil in Education Program Fall 2013.

The admissions requirements for MPhil program are: Master Degree in Education or equivalent (16 years) in First division from recognized university. Applicant should have qualified GAT conducted by NTS. All candidates have to qualify admission test conducted by the Institute. Candidates have not more than two second divisions (not terminal degree) and no third division in any academic record (Less than 45% in annual system and 50% in semester system).

Candidates having Master degree or equivalent in other relevant social and natural science disciplines are also eligible to apply for admission to M. Phil in education.
