Position Details

Position Title:

Risk Analyst – Operational Risk
Job Grade: OG-II / OG-I

Department:

Risk Management

Reporting To:

Wing Head – Operational Risk & Fraud Risk Management

Eligibility Criteria

Educational / Professional Qualifications:

Minimum Graduation or equivalent (preferably in:

Mathematics

Statistics

Finance

Computer Science

Actuarial Sciences)

Degree must be from a HEC-recognized local or international institute

A first-class Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and/or professional certifications in a relevant field will be considered an added advantage

Experience:

Minimum 01 year of banking experience

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant operational risk experience

Skills and Expertise Required:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess risks

Understanding of risk controls and regulatory requirements

Effective communication and presentation skills

Familiarity with operational risk frameworks, RCSAs, and KRIs

Key Responsibilities

Assist in updating the Operational Risk (OR) framework and related procedures

Facilitate the implementation of the OR framework across the Bank

Ensure Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) comprehensively cover all necessary areas and meet formatting standards

Collaborate with stakeholders to propose and finalize Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)

Maintain and update the Risk Management Coordinators (RMC) list

Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory guidelines, policies, and operational procedures

Maintain a comprehensive MIS of operational incidents and losses, including root cause analyses

Conduct Bank-wide analysis of operational incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Provide operational risk insights during review of Bank’s policies, procedures, and product programs

Undertake any other duties assigned by supervisors

Selection Process

Only shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited for the assessment test and/or panel interviews

Employment Terms

Type: Contractual (initially for three years – renewable based on performance and management discretion)

Compensation: Market-competitive salary and benefits as per Bank’s policy
