Teller - Aitemaad Islamic Banking (OG II)
Education/Qualification:
Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university/college/institute (local or international) approved by HEC.
Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree, Islamic Banking certification/degree, or diploma from a recognized institute.
Age Limit:
Maximum age of 28 years (as of the last date of application submission).
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of relevant banking experience is required.
Receive cash from the Branch Operations Manager/Supervisor, record denominations, and manage cashier/sorting functions.
Provide customer account services by handling deposits, withdrawals, and various other financial transactions.
Facilitate remittance services, utility bill collections, and government payments/receipts.
Maintain effective vault management and ensure adherence to cash handling protocols as per bank SOPs.
Forward cheques beyond assigned limits for authorization and disbursement, following SBP directives.
Ensure accurate cash counting, sorting, and matching of deposits with deposit slips.
Respond to customer inquiries and requests, such as currency exchanges, and maintain high levels of customer service.
Perform cash reconciliations, balance cash at the end of each business day, and maintain related records.
Cross-sell bank products and services, refer customers to relevant bank staff for further assistance.
Monitor cash flow activities and report suspicious transactions to the Branch Operations Manager.
Ensure compliance with Banking Laws, Regulations, SOPs, and Shariah Compliance in all job tasks.
Contribute to audit requirements and ensure continuous improvement in cash management procedures.
Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations related to Cash Management.
Understanding of branch banking operations and customer service.
Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
Excellent cash-handling and reconciliation skills.
Team player with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
