Position Title:

IT Officer (OG III)
Location: Karachi
(Separate vacancies available for general and female candidates)

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science from a HEC-recognized university/institution.

Age Limit:

Maximum 27 years as of the last date of application submission.

Experience:

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preference will be given to candidates with up to 1 year of experience in any IT-related field.

Key Responsibilities

Learn and implement modern IT technologies to improve banking efficiency, reliability, and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for uninterrupted IT operations.

Assist in system administration, IT infrastructure maintenance, and security management aligned with financial industry standards.

Participate in software development, including testing and deployment of secure banking applications.

Document technical processes and contribute to workflow improvement and technical support.

Assist in database administration, data analytics, and regulatory reporting for compliance and business intelligence.

Support IT project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and service continuity.

Comply with cybersecurity protocols, IT governance, and regulatory standards.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within a structured IT governance framework.

Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in banking IT for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Competencies

Programming: Java / J2EE / Spring MVC, C++, Dot Net / C#

IDEs: Eclipse, NetBeans, Visual Studio (v3.5+)

Application Servers: Tomcat, WebSphere, Glassfish

Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, JDBC, RDBMS concepts

Networking: Cisco, Microsoft Technologies

Cybersecurity and IT Compliance

Project Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Project Management

Documentation: Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, MS Word

Visualization: Diagramming tools for flowcharts and process maps
