VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Managing Director at Korangi Fisheries Harbour Authority, Karachi. This post is under the administrative control of the Ministry and will be on a contract basis for an initial period of three years, which is extendable.

Position Details:

  • Post Name & Scale: Managing Director, M-11
  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Instructions: As per Establishment's Division OM6496-8-3 dated 10-5-1997 and amendments thereafter.

Qualification and Experience:

  1. Educational Qualification:

    • Master’s Degree in Management Sciences from a reputable university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

  2. Professional Experience:

    • A minimum of 22 years of relevant experience in a senior management role (BS-17 and above or equivalent) in the public and private sectors.
    • Experience in a senior management position specifically related to fish harbour and port operations.

  3. Additional Considerations:

    • The required length of experience is reducible by 2 years for M.Phil degree holders and by 4 years for Ph.D. degree holders.

Age Limits:

  • Minimum Age: 42 years
  • Maximum Age: 50 years

Regional/Provincial Quota: Merit-based selection.
