JOB OPPORTUNITY

The Gwadar Port Authority, Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Government of Pakistan, invites applications from suitable candidates for the appointment of a Management Post on a regular basis.

Position Details:

  • Designation: Director General (Operations)
  • BPS: 20
  • Number of Posts: 1
  • Allocation of Provincial/Regional Quota: Merit
  • Age Limit: 37-45 years
  • Required Qualification:
    • Class-1 (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency or equivalent service certificate from HEC recognized institutions.
  • Required Experience:
    • Command experience of not less than four (4) years, including seventeen (17) years of experience in Port Operations or Shipping Management.

    • Candidates employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Organizations must apply through the proper channel.

  3. Age Relaxation:

    • Relaxation in age will be considered as per Federal Government rules, issued from time to time.

  4. Incomplete Applications:

    • Incomplete CVs/Resumes & those received after the due date shall not be entertained.

  5. Selection Process:

    • The selection will be strictly on merit as per rules and will be made by the Departmental Selection Committee/Board, GPA.

  6. Disqualification:

    • Candidates who attempt to exert influence of any kind will be subject to disqualification at the outset.

  7. Shortlisting:

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.

  8. Travel Allowance:

    • No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.

  9. Final Selection:

    • Medical fitness through a nominated Chief Medical Officer/Medical Team by the GPA.
    • Security Clearance from concerned Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs/Police).
