Updated Matric and Inter Study Scheme Announced for 2025

We have an important news for the students preparing for their academic year 2025. The Punjab Textbook Board has officially announced the scheme of studies for the matric and Inter annual exams 2025. This updated matric & inter study scheme states the weekly period/ class schedules and marks distribution for both male and female students who will participate in next academic session’s board exams in Punjab.

Weekly Schedule for Matric (9^th and 10^th Classes)

Ninth Class:

The weekly schedule for 9^th class students includes the following:

• Urdu: 5 classes
• Quranic Translation: 3 classes
• Islamic Studies and Mathematics: 6 classes each per week
• General Science and Optional Subjects: 6 classes each per week
• Extracurricular Activities: 1 class per week

Tenth Class:

For the 10^th class students, the schedule specifies the following number of periods:

• Pakistan Studies: 6 classes per week

Total Marks for Matric 2025 Exams:

The Punjab Textbook Board also announced the total marks for matric exams for the next academic session while announcing the matric study scheme 2025. The total marks for the combined 9^th and 10^th classes exams will be 1200 marks.

Weekly Schedule for Inter Classes

The scheme of studies for inter students also have an already planned and structured schedule:

• Urdu and English: 5 classes each per week
• Islamic Studies: 6 classes
• Quranic Translation: 3 classes
• Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology: 4 classes each per week
• Practical Exam Preparation: 2 classes Per week 

Total Marks for Intermediate:

Same as the matric, PTB also released the inter exams total marks 2025 along with the inter 2025 study scheme. The total marks for the intermediate annual examinations will also be 1200 marks.
