Punjab Teachers Organizations announce to stag protest against Punjab government

Lahore:  All teaching organizations of Punjab on Tuesday have decided to gain attention of government and announced to start a campaign from August 15^th, 2016 through teacher’s council platform, private news channel reported.

It is the first time when teacher unions had taken a strong step against government of Punjab. Over five teachers’ organizations had all together announced protest movement against the government in order to meet their demands.

The teaching organizations will protest against privatization of government schools, transfer of Danish School authority as well as up gradation of teachers.

Formerly, the teachers had staged a protest in May and June, in front of Punjab assembly. In the wake of total superiority and ignorant attitude by the government, the teachers had decided to come together on one platform and take a strong step against government.
