The National Assembly of Pakistan has officially announced the commencement of applications for its highly anticipated Parliamentary Internship Program – Summer Batch 2025. This initiative presents a unique and valuable opportunity for students and recent graduates to immerse themselves in the real-time legislative processes of Pakistan’s highest legislative body. With a six-week structured program, this internship is designed to offer deep insight into the dynamics of parliamentary functions, public policymaking, and democratic governance.

This internship program aligns closely with the objectives outlined in the National Assembly Strategic Plan (NASP), which places a strong emphasis on citizen engagement—particularly focusing on youth involvement in democratic and parliamentary activities. Through this initiative, the National Assembly Secretariat aims to foster a generation that is not only well-informed about governance and democracy but also actively participates in civic life with a sense of responsibility and purpose.

Program Highlights and Structure

The internship spans a total of six weeks, offering practical exposure to interns through interaction with various departments of the National Assembly.
