The University of the Punjab (PU) has released its admission policy for the 2025-26 academic session, making the PU Admission Test compulsory for all undergraduate applicants. The test will take place on 15th June 2025 (Sunday) across multiple cities in Pakistan.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible candidates include:

Students who have completed HSSC (FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com)

Test Categories & Weightage
The admission test covers seven major subject groups, each contributing 25% to the overall merit:

Pre-Engineering (PU-E)

Pre-Medical (PU-M)
-
Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (PU-AHS)

ICS (Physics Combination) (PU-CSP)
-
ICS (Statistics Combination) (PU-CSS)

General Science (PU-GS)

Commerce (PU-COM)
Note: Last year’s test scores will not be accepted for the 2025 admissions.
