PU teacher achieves American Fisheries Award 2016

Lahore: Dean of Punjab University of Faculty of Life Sciences, Professor of Zoology as well as earlier Registrar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Khan has been presented the International Professional Travel Award 2016 by the American Fisheries Society, United States of America.

As per the given reports from USA, Dr. Khan has been invited as an International Guest Speaker to attend the 41st Annual Conference of American Fisheries Society that was organized at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, USA, where he represented his award winning scholarly research paper named as “Professional development in fisheries: A case study of international mentoring opportunities for new researchers”.

This is the 6th international award won by Dr. Naeem Khan in a row during the last 2 years. Formerly, he was awarded with EU Erasmus Mundus Post-Doctoral Fellowship for Zagreb, Croatia (2015-2016); FAO Global Fisheries Travel Award for Rome, Italy (2015), Norwegian Fisheries Award for Trondheim, Norway (2014); American Fisheries Society Travel Award for Mazatlán, Mexico (2014) and also the World Aquaculture Society Travel Award for Adelaide, Australia (2014).
