Under the decision of the government regarding the reopening of educational institutes in Phase-II, large numbers of middle schools providing educations from (class 6th to class 8th) across the country have resumed the classes on Wednesday after the closure of six months due to the pandemic spread across the country.
Resumption of Middle and Primary Classes Across The Country
For this purpose, a meeting was held on Tuesday to take the final decision regarding the resumption of classes by keeping in view the current situation. It was announced by the Education Ministry on Tuesday, that all secondary educational institutions across the country have been reopened from September 23rd, 2020 while the primary level classes will resume from September 30th, 2020 after strictly observing the pandemic situation for next 1 week. While attending the meeting, Federal Minister for Education, Shafqat Mahmood said that if the pandemic situation remains under control, then the students of class Nunnery to class 5th will also be able to attend the classes from September 30th.
Issued SOPs By Government For Staff And Students
As per the SOPs issued by the government, the masks will be mandatory for all the teachers as well as students, whereas the schools, colleges, and university management will ensure the availability of sensitizers at the main gates.
