Summer Vacations Extended in Islamabad Official Notice
As we informed you earlier that the federal government might extend the summer vacations for school and college students but it is now official. After the summer vacation extension in Sindh and Balochistan, the Federal government has also announced the extension in summer holidays 2024. But this summer holidays extended in Islamabad is only for few days. An official notification from the Ministry was released earlier which says that:
“Because of intense heat and humidity in the Federal Capital district, summer vacations in ICT schools and colleges will be extended until 4th August 2024.”
Which means that the summer holidays 2024 extended in Islamabad only until 4th August 2024. The classes will continue from 5th August 2024.
Holidays Extensions in Other Provinces
Last week, the Sindh government extended its summer break until 14th August, due to the ongoing severe weather conditions. Balochistan also extended its holidays until 14th August 2024, due to hot weather and anticipated torrential rain and flash flooding. Schools in these provinces will reopen on 15th August 2024.
