Government Is Considering To Reopen Universities Across The Country

Due to Coronavirus pandemic, academic institutions (schools, colleges and universities) across the country were shut from mid of March. Since date authorities took the decision to Start the Online Studies for students keeping in mind the importance of education.

It has been quite a time now, finally federal Government is considering to reopen the universities across the country from July 15, 2020.

According to media reports, Prime Minister of Pakistan presided a meeting of National Security Committee in Islamabad to take a decision about the reopening of universities. Higher Education Commission (HEC) is informed about the decision and chairman of HEC had meeting with vice chancellors of all the universities all over Pakistan through a video call and agreed to reopen the universities from July 15, 2020 with the proper implementation of (Standard Operating Procedures) SOPs.
