CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 – Registration Start Date & Details

The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has announced the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025, aimed at providing free laptops to high-achieving students across the province. This initiative is designed to promote digital literacy and encourage academic excellence among students.

Program Overview

Under this initiative, 50,000 latest-generation laptops will be distributed to deserving students. Every year, 2,000 laptops will be given to intermediate and undergraduate students who qualify based on merit.

Latest Devices to Be Distributed

Students will receive 13th-generation Core i7 laptops equipped with cutting-edge technology. These laptops aim to facilitate research, learning, and educational excellence among students. Special consideration will be given to:

• Minority students

• High achievers in secondary and higher secondary examinations

Allocation Details

The laptops will be distributed among students as follows:

Regional Distribution

To ensure equitable distribution, students from South Punjab will receive 32% of the total allocation. This step aims to bridge the digital divide and provide equal opportunities to students from underprivileged areas.

Application Process

Unlike previous laptop schemes, students do not need to apply online. Instead, the process is streamlined as follows:

1. Educational institutions will compile data on eligible students.

2. The compiled data will be submitted to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Punjab.

3. The final list of selected students will be released after verification.

• No online application is required.

• Only meritorious students meeting the eligibility criteria will be considered.

Distribution Timeline

The laptop distribution process will follow this schedule:
