Lahore: Chief Minister’s E-Rozgar Scheme-a joint venture of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism (YASAT) has received an exceptional response from young graduates of age 35 years or below, as 33,105 candidates have applied for the scheme.
As per the issued statement, 16Phds, 1,794 MPhils, 15,574 masters, 15,134 graduates and 578 BTech (Hons) have applied for this e-rozgaar programme.

The gender wise summary unveils that 23,815 (71.9 percent) male and 9,290 (28.1 percent) female have applied for this scheme.
The district wise facts reveals that 4,946 applicants from Lahore have applied for the scheme followed by 3,255 from Faisalabad, 2,248 from Multan, 2,023 from Rawalpindi, 1,430 Bahawalpur, 1,268 from Gujranwala, 1,222 from Sargodha while 1,026 from RYK.
The applications from Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Chiniot, DG Khan, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Khanewal, Khushab, Layyah, Lodhran, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, Muzaffargarh, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Okara, Pakpattan, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Toba Tek Singh and Vehari were also received.

The selected applicants would be given 3 months training for freelance self-employment at 40 training centres by the experienced trainers.
