Lahore: The Lahore High Court has called the chairperson of Higher Education commission, secretary Higher Education department as well as the vice chancellor of Bahauddin Zakariya University in a case related to the establishment of sub-campus of BZU.
The Lahore High Court bench on Wednesday denied provincial minister Zaeem Ahmad Qadri an exemption from a personal appearance in the case about the legal status of the Lahore sub-campus of BZU, Multan.

Rejecting the request, Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, who headed the bench, called on the higher education commission chairperson, secretary higher education department and vice chancellor of BZU on January 30th, 2017.
The court observed that the sub-campus scandal of Bahauddin Zakariya University appears to be the biggest scam in education zone of the country.
The advocate general of Punjab made the request on behalf of the minister.
Justice Naqvi expressed disappointment over the failure of government to respond to the concerns of the protesting aspirants.
The bench delayed the hearing till January 30th, 2017.
