Book launching ceremony at Punjab University

Lahore, The book launching ceremony of Razina Alam Khan on the topic “Suno Pyari Beti” is scheduled to be organized today on Tuesday February 26 at 10:30am at Al Raazi Hall of Undergraduate Study Centre. Marian Nawaz Sharif, PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran and people from different fields will grace the ceremony.

Meanwhile, A book launching ceremony of “Minhaj-ul-Furqan” by Allama Khizer Yasin was arranged at Al-Raazi Hall of Undergraduate Study Centre.  Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran chaired the event.

Director Iqbal Academy Pakistan Sohail Omer, famous expert Orya Maqbool Jan, Sajjad Mir, Member Syndicate and MPA PML-N Khawaja Imran Nazir, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
 
Dr Kamran acknowledged Allama Khizer Yasin for his book on a different topic. Sajjad Mir said that there is a great knowledge expressed in the book on the topics which he was searching for.

PU VC Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has initiated 12 faculty apartments for teachers at New Campus Colony.

Controller Examinations Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, Member Syndicate Prof Dr Shaukat Ali, Academic Staff Association Acting President Dr Ehsan Sharif, Secretary Javed Sami, Director Planning and Development Tariq Majeed Qureshi, Acting Treasurer Rao Sharif, Project Director Sheikh Muhammad Ali, a large number of heads of different department and young teachers participated in the event.

Dr Mujahid Kamran said that these apartments have been made to solve residential issues of teachers because of increase in their number. He said more apartments would be constructed soon.

Dr Ehsan Sharif and Javed Sami thanked Dr Mujahid Kamran for determining concerns of faculty members. Each apartment consists of three storey building having 1500 squar feet covered area, two lavish bed rooms with attached bath, wide kitchen, airy drawing room and a laundry area. The teachers praised the struggles of Project Director Sheikh Muhammad Ali on the occasion.
