In 1975, Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) started functioning as commanding body for the conduction of bachelors, masters, MPhil and PhD level examinations under various faculties. IUB has two sub campuses in Rahim Yar Khan Bahawalnagar to impart educational services to the students of Bahawalpur and its jurisdictive parts.
