BISE Sukkur Board was created in 1979 to provide educational services at secondary and higher secondary level. Every year board conducts the matric and inter exams in March/May respectively. Students must follow all the schedules otherwise they could not avail the chance to appear in the exams. After the completion of exams the board sends all the papers to the teachers of schools and colleges. Qualified teachers are selected for the checking of papers. At the time of establishment, the affiliated areas of BISE Sukkur were Jacobabad, Khairpur, Larkana, Nawabshah including the present territories of District Naushahro Ferozek, Sukkur including the current areas of District Ghotki and Shikarpur. Later on the areas of Nawabshah district expecting Taluka Daulatpur merged in the BSIE Hyderabad by the Sindh government.
