The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) every year conducts the HSSC exams according to the specified schedule. The date sheet will be generally declared for HSSC students of science and arts groups in the month of April and it exams are held in May. For the session 2024 the final exams will start from May 2024 and date sheet in this regard will be released on April 2024. In 1974 the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi was inaugurated and is the commanding board of the division. It is performing its duties under the Sindh Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education. The chairman of the board is the main authority and principal executive and academic officer of the board. All the staff works under his supervision and secretaries are performing their duties to continue the examination process. To perform the other functions systematically there are stationary and non-stationary committees. There are various areas which are functioning under the supervision of BEIK and these are Karachi Cantt., Clifton Cantt., and Manora Cantt of Civil District of Karachi. Since its creation thousands of thousands students have been awarded with degrees.
