Medical and Dental College Admission Test, MDCAT is an evaluation test that is conducted every year to offer the deserving candidates admissions in the medical higher education. Students who want to start their career with MBBS and BDS programs appear for this medical entrance test, National MDCAT. The exam is comprised of questions from the major science subjects that students study until the intermediate level of education.
MDCAT Is Conducted By PMC
Pakistan Medical Commission, PMC which was previously known as the Pakistan medical and dental council, PMDC is an authority that takes the responsibilities of the registration of the medical practitioners in Pakistan. PMC has conducted the National MDCAT on November 29th, 2020. The entrance exam had been faced a delay period because of the uncertain circumstances due to the pandemic.
National MDCAT 2020 Schedule
Students from across the country were registered under PMC for the National MDCAT 2020 session. First of all, the registration process lasted until November 6th, 2020 and it was decided that students would appear for National MDCAT on November 15th, 2020. However, later on, due to some reasons (no confirmation of syllabus and to offer registration further candidates) the Sindh High Court addressed PMC to delay the final schedule of MDCAT commencement. However, after fulfilling all the requirements PMC finally conducted National MDCAT on November 29th, 2020.
Candidates Tested Positive For Corona
Almost 130, 472 candidates were registered for the national MDCAT 2020 session. Out of the registered candidates, 138 were tested positive for Covid-19 and those candidates could not appear for the test. However, the rest of the candidates appeared for the test. To facilitate those candidates the PMC has announced the special MDCAT schedule under which all the infected candidates will be able to appear for the exam. The authority has announced that the infected candidates will appear for the special MDCAT on December 13th, 2020.
National MDCAT 2020 Result
Right after the completion of the National MDCAT, candidates are asking about the MDCAT 2020 result. All the candidates who appeared for the National MDCAT are offered best wishes for their better success. However, at the same time, all candidates are informed that PMC would publish the complete result within almost 10 days after the conduction of the test. The result would be published on the official site of PMC. Once after publishing the final result the further admission process will be commenced. However, all other information regarding results and admission is available on the official platform of PMC.
