Truthfulness Leads to Righteousness

Today Quaid-e-Azam’s Pakistan is hemorrhage due to out of control corruption, dishonesty, selfishness, greed, gossip, laziness and bitterness of politicians, landlords, bureaucracy and industrialists etc. When we evaluate common people’s problems, we can know that dishonest, incompetent officers at each level are major problem. Weak and incompetent leadership top to bottom is creates major problem and damage the democratic process in Pakistan. They have proved failure in dealing with government affairs and problem solving of common peoples etc. They do not know how to run the administration affairs and they failed showing good governance at each level.

The only hope against corruption, dishonesty, and crime is independent judiciary. Because judiciary is bone of contention of all evils. Those countries where judiciary is not working properly like Pakistan it gradually destroyed all its institutions, and all discrimination like bribery, nepotism and favoritism is prevailed. A true democratic, society is based upon honesty and justice. But when we evaluate the present situation we can see opposite of honesty, deceit, double standards, bluffing, to bribe, deceitful and to break his promises etc. In (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) “The hypocrite has three characteristics he tells lies, breaks his promise and breaches the truth.”

Here I write an event from the Islamic history, during the period of Hazrat Umar, once a young man was brought before him. He admitted that he had hit the man with a stone in anger. According to the Islamic law Hazrat Umar sentenced the killer to death. The young man requested to give hm a chance to carry out the instructions of his late father. He requested the Caliph to give him three days to do so. The father had given him some gold to hand over to his brother. Hazrat Umar requested his request. But who would give the guarantee of that young man. The young man looked around. He pointed to Hazrat Abuzar Ghafari, to give his gurantee.The young man was thus allowed to go. On the third day many people gather in the court. All were anxious to see the young man. Time passed but the young man did not come. Suddenly there rose a cloud of dust at some distance. They saw a young man running very fast, he was out of breath. In a faltering voice he offered himself for the punishment. All the people were impressed by the young man who had kept his promise. The two young man, whose father he had killed, forgive him.

Let us we evaluate the present situation, Telling lies, dishonesty and false promise is common thing. There is no safeguard to the life as well as property of the average citizen. Needy are deprived of their rights which causes mammoth unrest among masses. The Quran says, “Truly Allah does not guide one who transgresses and lies.”Be honest because truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. Beware of falsehood because it leads to immorality and immorality leads to Hell.”

Today it is the high time to lead youth and give them hope of honesty, unity, and integrity. Hope is the power that feeds the soul. Hope is a natural human need; hope with constructive action is every thing for life. If we have no hope we have no purpose in order to live. As we all know that every thing possible, without hope and hard work life is meaningless. It pushes us towards whatever goal we are trying to reach.

As Thomas Sprat said, what you dislike in another take care to correct in yourself. Its true said that change yourself and fortune will change with you. Hopeless is another social ills and key dilemma. Therefore as good citizen we all have a heavy responsibility to teach our youth basic concepts and ideas and basic values, which help them to develop superior qualities and abilities. The good moral values which will make possible our youth to be accountable and useful citizens. We all deem terrible inequality, corruption, robbery, hunger, greediness, exploitation, ignorance and human suffering. Moral practices that will develop them individually live good lives and become creative, contributing members of their society. If each of water in the ocean contributes to making a difference, imagine how much we can contribute to making a difference in this world.

It is important to note that the seeds we will now scatter, we will enjoy the fruits. Today we all need to plant honesty, truth, faith, patience, hard work, loyalty and goodness etc.

Today common people are not living in good condition. They are miserable and had no hope and courage because of injustice and starvation. The situation is deteriorated and the country is left in its decline when there is no accountability in the country. It’s our duty gives them message of a new hope, honesty, courage and self-respect. They should come out of despair and became united again against corrupt, dishonest and lying group. We have to make ourselves strong on individual level also so that we could bring a change in this country and have a check on these leaders and they should be accountable to this nation for their performance for this, we have to construct each institution of this nation stronger because this is the merely means to progress.

Today we need those leaders and officers who sacrificed their life at the alter of truth, honesty. Each person has the right to protection of his life, protection of property, right of freedom protection of honor; no someone has the right to violate the honor of another person even by a slanderous utterance. Every one is equal in rights and responsibilities. The only difference is their faith. Why we not find a leader like Caliph Omar, who was impeccably honest, and extraordinary competence in governance. We should follow the successful leaders at the recent history in the Islamic world. We should follow the leaders like Malaysia’s Mahathir Mohammad and Indonesia’s Suharto, it is their sufficient competence in delivering good governance to their peoples that has brought great economic success, and human development to their nations. It is possible to find people who are practically competent amongst Pakistani have to help out guide the nation to a better future.

We all responsible and should instructs the youth to be honest and tutor him to be so. The result is a well self and healthy social atmosphere that leads to the pleasure of equally the individual and the group. Today we want Pakistan as Quaid-e-Azam wanted to see this, “There is nothing that we desire more than to live in peace and let others live in peace and develop our country according to our own lights without outside interference and improve the lot of the common man.” Today righteous people sorrowful due to the lack of honesty around them. Today we should build an interesting, powerful vision with positive thinking. We should teach this lesson to our youth that truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. We should never think of doing any injustice to anybody. Because a true superior society is based upon honesty positive think and justice.
