KARACHI: The NED University of Engineering and Technology has introduced Pakistan’s first Virtual Reality Lab named “The Grid”. It is a Petroleum Engineering Department Alumni project and it is been funded by the alumni’s of NED university.
The Grid is a first of its kind Virtual Reality Lab alongside Media Center at a college's level in the nation. It recently launched its operations for students and faculty for shared learning relating to Virtual Reality and utilizing it to instruct engineers.

NED Lecturer, Mohsin Yousufi said that the media lab is not limited to the students of Petroleum Engineering and is open to everybody who need to make their simulations and test their projects.
