What Is The Passing Marks Criteria For CSS Subjects

According to the CSS written test pattern, the total subjects, candidates choose, are comprised of 1200 marks. The subjects are comprised of two main categories i.e. compulsory subjects and optional subjects. 600 marks are allocated for compulsory subjects and 600 marks are allocated for optional subjects. For each compulsory subject, the passing marks are 40%. However, to pass each optional subject, candidates have to secure 33% marks.
