DIFFERENCE BETWEEN O LEVELS AND MATRICULATION:

For the understanding of the students, below are given some much perceived and key differences between the O levels education and Matriculation learning framework.

O Levels	Matriculation
Cambridge International Examinations are conducted across the world as it is globally recognized	Matriculation is a local certificate (Secondary School Completion) that is issued by the Pakistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education
O Level syllabus is comprehensive as it is prepared according to the needs of the modern times by the international educationists in order to polish students’ hidden abilities.	The syllabus for Matriculation is considered to be very simple in comparison to O Levels.
O level is recognized globally.	The Matric students face difficulties in applying for further education in foreign countries, as it is a local certificate.
The instruction medium for O levels is English which give students an edge as English is the official language of Pakistan along with being the international language	Most of the Matric students preferably take their exams in Urdu. Thus, such students have to find many difficulties in future careers.
O levels examination is not affordable by majority as it’s more expensive than Matriculation. For example O levels students have to pay minimum of Rs. 15000 per month for just home tuition fee.	Comparatively, the fee for matriculation is less expensive that O Levels.
Exams for Matriculation are held once a year, that is March/April and also students can appear in supplementary exams in order to improve their marks.	The exams for O levels are held twice in a year that is May/June and October/November.
The grading system of O levels is much simpler than matriculation as it is according to the international grading system.	Matriculation grading system works with marks by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
O levels tests the basic concepts of the students.	Matriculation deals mainly in the memory power of the student.
O level learning is considered to be much superior due to its international standards.	Matric learning framework, is designed by the local Board in Pakistan.
