Understanding the MDCAT Aggregate formula is necessary for aspiring medical and dental students. It serves as a fundamental tool, shedding light on how the final MDCAT aggregate is calculated which is later the critical value in your UHS MBBS merit list based on your MDCAT, FSc and Matriculation scores. 

This MDCAT aggregate formula has special percentages assigned to your MDCAT score, Intermediate and Matric. We have provided you detailed chart of scoring percentages in the following table. As always, even this year, your MDCAT score makes the huge chunk of the aggregate formula.

How to Calculate Aggregate for MDCAT

Percentage of MDCAT  Example Result
50% of MDCAT You got 167 marks in MDCAT Then , 167÷200 x100= 83.5% 50% of MDCAT= 83.5 x 50÷100= 41.75
40% of FSC You got 980 marks in FSC out of 1100 Then,  980 ÷1100 x100=  89.09% 40% of FSC marks = 89.09 x 40÷100= 35.63
10% of Martriculataion  You got 910 marks out of 1100 in Matriculation Then, 910 ÷ 1100 x 100 = 82.72% 10% of Matric Marks = 82.72 x10 ÷ 100 = 8.27
Add up all and get the complete aggregate

41.75% + 35.63% + 8.27%= 85.65

UHS, KMU, BUMHS and SZAMBU MDCAT Aggregate Calculator 2024

The Calculation Method of current year 2024 has been issued by UHS, students can check the updated methods for sake of understanding. For calculating the MDCAT aggregate, UHS made a formula. The aggregate for MDCAT is made by the formula given by UHS. The aggregate formula for MDCAT 2024 is give below:

  • 50% of MDCAT 
  • 40% of HSSC
  • 10% of Matriculation

This test consists of five portions, i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Logical reasoning. The total marks of test are 200 (1 mark for each MCQ).There is no negative marking.

The division of marks for the subjects is following:

  • Biology (68 MCQS) 1 mark for each MCQs = 68 marks
  • Chemistry (54 MCQS) 1 mark for each MCQs= 54 marks
  • Physics (54 MCQS) 1 mark for each MCQs=54 marks
  • English (18 MCQS) 1 mark for each MCQs=18 marks
  • Logical reasoning (6 MCQS) 1 mark for each MCQs=6 marks

Admission Policy For Public & private Colleges

Applicant of MDCAT test are notified that they can check the complete formulate through which they can calculate the Aggregate for Admission in Public and Private Collegses. Students are advised to check the Admission criteria from here.
