Punjab Tianjin University of technology is situated at city of Lahore. The framework and plan of establishing Punjab Tianjin University of Technology was initiated during former Chief Minister Punjab’s visit to Tianjin, China in May 2017. It is aimed to produce able and efficient technologists in Pakistan for development of country. Three Universities are planned to be established till the year 2025.The University have courses of Electrical Engineering Technology, Automobile Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Textile Engineering Technology, Fashion Design Technology, Architecture Technology and Civil Engineering Technology.

The MoU signed in 2017 between Government of Punjab and China, three Universities will be established, those are planned to be named as Tianjin University of Technology & Education, Tianjin, Tianjin Polytechnic University and Tianjin Chenjian University. The idea of a technical University is novel in Pakistan but with the establishment of these Universities massive job opportunities and door will open for Pakistani youth in Pakistan and overseas. There are already many technical education & vocational training institutes being planned to be developed and the existing institutes are providing satisfactory results. The establishment of separate Technical University will have a very positive impact in economy of Pakistan. The University is courageously shaping its students into well qualified and skilled professionals, who will be able to make their country proud globally.
