ADVERTISEMENT FOR HIRING OF VISITING FACULTY

Punjab Tianjin University of Technology, Lahore, a public sector technology university established by the Government of Punjab, is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the following subjects/fields. The positions are available for the three-year diploma program offered at Raiwind Road Campus and the four-year degree program offered at Township Campus.

Subjects/Fields and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Civil Technology - Master’s Degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in the relevant field
  • Electrical Technology - Master’s Degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in the relevant field
  • Mathematics - Master’s Degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in the relevant field
  • Physics - Master’s Degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in the relevant field
  • English - MS/M.Phil (18 years of education) in the relevant field
  • Chemistry - MS/M.Phil (18 years of education) in the relevant field
  • Software Engineering Technology - MS/M.Phil (18 years of education) in the relevant field
  • Islamiyat - MS/M.Phil (18 years of education) in the relevant field

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Preference will be given to applicants with higher qualifications.
  2. Hiring will be made purely on a temporary basis.
  3. Visiting faculty will be paid a monthly remuneration of:
    • Rs. 60,000/- for those with 16 years of education.
    • Rs. 75,000/- for those with 18 years of education.
    • The above rates apply for a workload of at least 12 lectures or more per week. For less than 12 lectures per week, remuneration will be paid at the approved per-lecture rate of the University.
  4. Applications must be submitted as hard copies using the application form available on the University website ptut.edu.pk. Include all relevant documents and a payment of Rs. 500/- deposited in any branch of the Bank of Punjab into the University's account No. 6580064981000010. Submit to the address below by 20.09.2023 before the closing hours.
  5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
