Peoples Primary HealthCare Initiative Sindh PPHI

Peoples primary healthcare initiative Sindh (PPHI) is a group of health care units established in 1999 by government. The sole purpose of establishing this organization is to serve the poor and resolve their problems with passion, empathy and commitment. Such kinds of services in Pakistan are only available to financially privilege but this organization is bridging this gap by its dedication and efforts. This work ethic and spirit sets it apart from other public organizations of Pakistan. The funds for its servicers, staff pays and other expenditures are derived from Government and District Budgets. In the health care units, the supply of medicines and necessary equipments is made sure to be available at all times. To evaluate the services of staff and the challenges faced by them are being discussed at Monthly Review Meetings” (MRM). The deployment of medical professional at different districts of Punjab and Sindh is discussed at Monthly Review Meetings” (MRM). It is a strategy of PPHI heads. Maintaining quality of service and timely deliverance of medical facilities is main concern of the department. District Support Units conducts regular surveys to oversee and monitor the staff at work and ascertain ways to help them in resolving their daily challenges. Currently, PPHI is working on more projects such as; School Health Sessions, Community Health Sessions, Family Planning services, Female Health Program, community participation and computerization.
