Pakistan Marine Academy is located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. This academy was established in1962. This academy is a government institution and an attached department of Ports and Shipping Wing, which trains Merchant Navy Officers. It is also affiliated with NED University of Engineering and Technology and also has an affiliation with Higher Education Commission (HEC). All facilities and function are available that are necessary for a marine training academy to meet the standards set by the International Maritime Organization and World Maritime University Sweden.

There are three pre-sea courses offered by this academy: Two years associate degree program in Marine Engineering, Two years associate degree program in Nautical Science and five months certificate course for General Purpose Rating. Pakistan Navy assists this academy for the professional training of the officers.
