UET Lahore begins admissions in MA English Language Teaching Program

Lahore, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore has started admissions in Masters in English Language Teaching Program. The admissions have been started by the Department of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences, UET Lahore.

Candidates are eligible if they have done BA/BSc degree with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 from HEC recognized institutions are eligible to apply. However preference will be given in the mentioned order, MA/ BS Hons English, ii. BA (English 200 marks,) iii. BA/BSc.

The eligible candidates will appear for subject test followed by an interview to be held as per given schedule at the Department of Humanities and Management Sciences. The passing marks of the test are 50%. After passing the test and obtaining the required marks UET will admit the students according to the criteria.

The admission forms will be available at UET Lahore from Sep 04, 2013 while last date to submit the forms is Sep 16, 2013. Test and interviews will be held on Sep 23 and first merit list will be displayed on Oct 04, 2013. Only those students will be admitted who will pass the test and interview of the university.

Application form will be filled online by logging onto http://admission.uet.edu.pk. The printout of the filled application along with the detailed marks certificate, copy of degree/ provisional and two photographs will be submitted in the Department of Humanities and Management Sciences from Monday to Friday during office hours. Admission process fee of Rs 800/- must be submitted along with the admission from in bank. Incomplete forms will be rejected.
