Lahore: The government of Punjab has decided to make the Quranic Education along with Urdu translation for the Muslim students compulsory from grade 1 to grade 12.
As per the details, the education will be given in phase beginning from Nazra Quran at primary level; comprehensive details of Islamic incidents at secondary level while Quranic verses along with Urdu translations will be studied at higher secondary level.

While presiding over a session at Lahore’s Children Library, provincial leader Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan ordered the authorities to contemplate the syllabus accordingly.
He said that this step will definitely strengthen behavior as well as the attitude of aspirants according to the teachings of Islam.
