PMDC 2019 admission policy for MBBS and BDS is restored on Monday by two-member high court bench. This policy was presented by Pakistan medical and dental commission on 30th may 2019 but got rejected by the single-member bench on 14 October 2019 by declaring policy illegal. The major concern was the admission policy, made by PMDC for the medical admissions of students.
PMDC took stance
PMDC challenged this order in Lahore high court a day after and today in Lahore court 2-member bench led by Justice Aisha A. Malik restored the current policy of PMDC for MBBS and BDS admission in 2019. It is stated in the Court that all the universities all over Pakistan will follow the same merit formula given by PMDC including NUMS.
