The Punjab education minister, Murad Raas stated in his tweet that the schools year for the matric 2021-2022 and intermediate 2021-2022 has been extended to June 2022. Moreover according to the Murad Raas tweet today it has been informed to the students that the final examinations will be commenced in June 2022. Before the commencement of the exams the schedule will be provided to the students so that they can appear in the exams accordingly. The extension in the school year is strictly due to the closure of schools due to the spread of the COVID 19. The coronavirus pandemic has disturbed the usual academic and examinations activities as the educational institutes have been closed for an extended time period since March 2021. Furthermore, the board authorities had conducted the exams of elective subjects according to the directives issued by the federal education minister. The decision had been taken to facilitate the students as they remain unable to complete the coursework in the due time.
Syllabus for Session 2022
According to Shafqat Mehmood latest news about exams, there will be full syllabus for Session 2022 as there will be no smart syllabus and matric and intermediate annual exams will be conducted from the entire syllabus. Moreover, as per Shafqat Mehmood tweet, the entire syllabus for all classes is completed by April/May 2022. The students can study the syllabus for Class 9, Class 10, Class 11 and Class 12 from Ilmkidunya.
