DUHS opens admissions in Clinical Research Certified Professionals 2013

Karachi, Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi, Clinical Trial Unit (CTU) has opened admissions in Clinical Research Certified Professionals (CRCP) for session 2013.

CTU is pleased to announce the 7th Clinical Research Certified Professional Course. This course is a capacity development program in clinical trials. Trainees would become clinical research professionals and would be involved in clinical trials including data collection, analysis, monitoring and case management of protocol participants according to GCP-ICH.
The clinical research certified professionals are in huge demand in the national international bio-pharmaceutical industries and research trial units of several universities.

The duration of the course is four months while interviews for selection would be held on May 24 and 25, 2013 and classes will start on June 16 from 9am to 1pm. Fee of the course is 25, 000.

Candidates can apply if they have done BSc/MSc in Biological Sciences or MD/MBBS/BDS/FCPS or Pharmaceutical professionals or Professional nurses.

Applicants can download application from the university website www.duhs.edu.pk. Application form should be submitted with pay order of Rs 500/- in favour of CTU DUHS.

Last date for submission of application form is May 18, 2013 till 12 noon at CTU office, Library Block, 2nd Floor, Dow Medical College, MA Jinnah Road, Karachi.

Students from other cities of Pakistan and International students can also be enrolled through WEBEX. Limited seats are available.

Introductory seminar on CRCP course will be organized on April 27, 2013 from 10am to 12 noon at Arag Auditorium, Dow Medical College, DUHS Baba-e-Urdu Road, MA Jinnah Road Karachi.
