Lahore: According to the press release issued on Wednesday, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is now going to launch a ‘development plan’ of the new campus of Air University’s Multan sub-campus on Bahawalpur Road, approximately 19 kms off the city.
Presently, a sub-campus of Air University Islamabad is operational at Abdali Road in a commercial plaza and 700 aspirants are registered here.

After the successful completion of the new campus enhancement plan, the institute will enroll over 5,000 aspirants in the disciplines of Aviation Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Sciences and Health Sciences which will serve as a keystone for social as well as for economic uplift of the people of southern regions of Punjab.
Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahabaz Sharif has set up a special committee presided over by the Additional Chief Secretary Shamail Ahmad Khwaja to determine the quantum and also the sort of meaningful aid from the government to facilitate the Pakistan Air Force in quick completion of the enhancement plan of the sub-campus of Air University.

A meeting of the special committee was organized under the chairmanship of ACS Shamail Ahmad Khawaja at Civil Secretariat.
The enhancement plan consists of the four stages involving construction of four academic blocks along with the three residential blocks.
