Admission Merit Calculation
The formula for determining merit for UET Faisalabad is 70 percent of the intermediate result including F.Sc or equivalent and 30 percent from the UET entry test result. From the merit list’s point of view other details like Hafiz-e-Quran marks may also add something to the merit score. For candidates, who use other exams for substantiation, a decrease in marks may occur. Merit cuts for the 2024 admissions are again different depending on the course a student is applying for. Previously, the requirements for various programs indicate that to get into the Faisalabad University courses such as Chemical and Electrical Engineering one needed score of between fifty and sixty three percentage mark depending on the category offered to a student.
Phases of Merit Lists
UET Faisalabad releases merit list one, merit list two, and merit list three. This has an effect of allowing all the available seats available to go to the qualified candidates. The candidates should regularly visit the official site of UET Faisalabad or the portal for updates. Selected candidates and fee submission dates are sensitive information that admission centers need to ensure they convey effectively. Candidates not admitted in list first time can track second list or other such lists for existing openings.
