The University of Agriculture is a public sector research-based university. It is located in Faisalabad city of Pakistan. The University of Agriculture is the pioneer and oldest university dedicated to the agriculture sector. The institute was established in 1906, but the name was changed to the University of Agriculture in 1961. The institute was developed as the only institute for higher education in the department of Agriculture. The University includes different sub-campuses in Burewala, Okara, and Toba Tek Singh. Due to its high-quality education, the university holds more than 35,000 students.

Admission requirements 

• The admission requirements vary among the different departments and academic programs. The basic admission requirements for undergraduate degree programs include an intermediate or equivalent degree with a minimum grade of 50%. The university might interview as part of the admission process.

• The admission requirement for graduate studies includes a bachelor's degree in the relevant field with a minimum grade point average of 2.5. The students are required to appear for the entry test and interview. The aggregate will be determined through these requirements.
