The Quaid-e-Azam Medical College (QAMC) Bahawalpur will publish the 2024 merit lists for students to be admitted into various medical programs, such as MBBS, based on the rules and regulations presented by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and the University of Health Sciences (UHS). Since merit lists are the utmost step in the process followed during admission, it will portray fairness and transparency while making admission decisions based on students' performances in academic sessions and tests conducted.

Merit List Announce Procedure
Merit lists for 2024 QAMC shall be declared in multiple stages which would be merit list I, II and III stage wise depending on seats available in institutions. The initial merit list shall be issued once all applications and MDCAT procedures are over. Applicants may view merit lists both at the UHS site as well as QAMC notice board. The lists will contain the names of the successful candidates along with their marks and order of merit. Those who are included in the lists have to follow the subsequent procedure, which includes document verification and fee submission, within the deadlines.
Eligibility and Criteria for Merit
Merit lists are prepared on the basis of a combination of factors, including marks obtained in F.Sc. Pre-Medical ,performance in the MDCAT, and the weightage assigned to each component as per PMDC regulations. Usually, marks in F.Sc carry 50% marks in MDCAT are 40%, and matric carries 10% weightage. Merit lists are prepared based on merit only from among those who qualify for admission on fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria that includes 60% in F.Sc. Pre-Medical and valid MDCAT. Applicants are advised to keep track of updates on the UHS portal or QAMC’s official channels to stay informed about the merit list schedules and procedures.
