NED University Admission Requirements 

As a public sector university, NED University has a condition of accepting students strictly on merit basis. To be eligible for the NED admission students have to go through a rigorous selection criteria. We have provided the NED admission criteria 2024 in the following for your convenience:

• Candidate must be a resident of Sindh Province, excluding reserved categories.

• Passed HSSC/ inter from an accredited Pakistani Board of Education or a recognized equivalent foreign exam by NED University. 

• Results awaiting candidates can also apply. In case of A-Level, applicants need to provide A-Level Grade Sheet and IBCC Equivalency Certificate.

• Passing the exam should not be more than three years before applying.

• Minimum 60% aggregate marks required in previous qualifications.

• For most BS programs, a minimum of 55% to 60% marks are necessary at NED.

• Candidates must have completed their previous qualification with relevant subjects.

• Candidates must pass the pre-admission entry test with 50% marks or score at least 800 in SAT-I and 1500 in SAT-II (Physics/Statistics, Chemistry/Computer Science, and Mathematics/Biology). Tests scores must be valid for one year.

• Candidates under category R-12(d) (Nominee of Government of Gilgit Baltistan) should present proof of passing the Pre-Admission Entry Test by NED University or an acceptable authority.
