Programs Fee Details

The education programs at FAST Karachi give students fundamental expertise that matches the technological needs of present day society through its diverse educational models at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Universities at FAST Karachi provide three undergraduate majors: BSCS Computer Science, BSEE Electrical Engineering, and BSBA Business Administration. Students can pursue Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) and Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) alongside Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Engineering. Students enrolled in these programs must pay Rs. 10,000 for each credit hour. New students must pay Rs. 30,000 in admission fees alongside a Rs. 20,000 security deposit that functions as a returnable payment at admission. Each semester a Student Activities Fund worth Rs. 2,500 applies to students. 

Scholarship & Financial Assistance

Through its scholarship programs FAST Karachi provides financial backing to its academic students. The Sindh Government Endowment Board extends scholarships through need and merit assessment programs which support students from undergraduate through graduate through full course fee reimbursement for their entire academic journey. Under this quota 60% of students enrolled at FAST Karachi represent rural populations and 40% are residents of urban areas. This scholarship program distributes about 25 scholarships throughout each year. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) provides scholarships to MS and Ph.D candidates which include coverage for tuition expenses and monthly funding as well as book purchasing support. Through its financial assistance program the Old Students Association of FAST (OSAF) helps students who face difficulties paying their complete fees. Due to its community-based nature various scholarships become available through the Memon Community and Bohra Community and INFAQ Foundation and Agha Khan Foundation.
