Admission Process

Students need to submit their application forms electronically on the official portal at the start of the FAST Karachi admission process. The application process requires applicants to share personal information and academic background and payment of a non refundable fee and necessary documents submission. Candidate requirements include passing the university admissions test focusing on mathematics skills and abilities in English and analytical reasoning abilities. High marks in admission tests serve the university as a primary method to evaluate applicant academic aptitude. Selected candidates from entrance examinations will later participate in interviews designed to assess their ability to follow the selected academic program. A final decision about selected candidates will be made post interview assessment.

Eligibility and Criteria

Candidates need to finish High School Studies from Secondary (HSSC) or an equivalent qualification and achieve at least 60% as their minimum mark. Students seeking admission to postgraduate programs need to demonstrate a relevant bachelor's degree combined with a minimum 2.00 CGPA on a 4.00 scale. Candidates need to send their valid SAT admission test scores during the application process for undergraduate admission and submit valid GRE subject test scores when applying for postgraduate study. Student eligibility for postgraduate education begins with a maximum age of 30 whereas the undergraduate age limit is 22.
