Multan Medical and Dental College has been developed as a state of the art medical institution imparting accredited and approved medical education and research. Ibne-Seina Hospital and Research Institute which will be a research oriented teaching hospital will fulfill the requirement of training and research of medical students. The curriculum of Multan Medical and Dental College will be quite in line with the PM&DC regulations and international health standards in, producing community and research oriented doctors who will be competent to deal with the common health problems of the people in a scientifically sound and cost effective manner, using the appropriate technology and holistic approach. Its graduates will be able to assume leadership in a health care team and will communicate effectively as a good clinician in accordance with the code of medical ethics.

Degree Majors, Colleges and Departments
MMDC provides a host of programs in medicine and dentistry right from undergraduate to post- graduate levels. The main academic offered here are the degree of Dominion in Medicine, Dominion in Surgery (MBBS) and Dominion in Dental Surgery (BDS) which gives the learner strong basics in the natural sciences, clinical skills and approaches to manage patients. The college has modern infrastructural facilities such as laboratories, library and a classroom and other learning resources. Affiliated hospitals are used in clinical training; students get exposed to actual medical and dental clinical problems.
Besides academic programs, MMDC focuses on research as well as community service. Students and faculty of the college are encouraged to participate in medical research activities, which enables the college support health related discoveries. Moreover, there exist several objectives of MMDC: they are engaged in community programs and provide free medical and dental camp to the people, who have no possibility to pay for such services. This assists student in the development of responsibility and goodwill towards fellow human beings in support of society.
