Multan Medical & Dental College (MMDC) have designed their admission criteria in such a way that students seeking MBBS and BDS must have earned their previous education based on merit. The merit is calculated based on candidates’ academic background and their result in Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) and other parameters, which are set by this college and UHS Lahore. MMDC keep the merit list procedure open to enable the student follow the progress of his or her selection at different levels.

Announcements and Preparation of Merit Lists
During the entire admission period, MMDC Já out merit lists. The first merit list is prepared through the integration of MDCAT, intermediate FSc or equal to examination result, and other factors that formulized by UHS. Once the COntrol of MDCAT exam has been released, the college then presents a provisional merit list for checking on the official MMDC website and candidate venues. Subsequently the next lists may contain the waitlisted candidates or candidates selected under the reserved seats. The last list of marks fixes the students who are to be given admission in the college they are going to join.
Admissions in each course at MMDC are on a merit basis, whereby every list is updated to include the most recent admissions. If a candidate’s name features on the deserved merit list they are asked to fill in all the needed formalities as well as make all the required fees within the expected time only if the candidate is to be given admission. In the case where the candidate does not find merit with the initial list, the candidate may still be considered with the other list if there are vacancies open. Only those who meet the set admission requirement must undergo through the following procedures, which includes; producing of documents, medical examination, and final registration.
