Karakurum International University Gilgit Admissions 2025 Last Date

The admission to the Karakoram University is open for all irrespective of gender, religion, class, race, color, creed and domicile. The candidate must be academically eligible for admission to the programs and courses offered at the university. The university invites the candidates for admission to bachelors, masters and PhD programs.

Application Procedure

The candidates are required to follow the admission procedure for applying for the admission. The procedure is:

• The candidates must go to the Student Affairs Office of the university at both campuses i.e Gilgit and Skardu Campus for obtaining the prospectus and the admission form. The prospectus and the admission form can only be obtained on the working days i.e Monday to Friday. The charges of the admission form are Rs 1000.
• The candidates who obtain the admission from the website should attach a bank draft of Rs. 1000 in the name of Treasurer KIU Gilgit-Baltistan
• The candidate must observe the last date of application because after the due date they will not be allowed to apply for the admission.
• The Candidates are required to keep checking the KIU website for checking the interview date for the programs applied for. The university will not issue separate call letters.

Eligibility To Apply

The candidates are eligible to apply for the admission only if they acquire at least 45% marks in the last board or university examination.

Fee Structure

• The candidates must pay the fee charges at the time of admission. The fees include the charges for library, internet and other facilities offered at the campus. All the students must pay the fee for each semester.
• It is important to pay fees on the date given by the university. No student will be allowed to get admission without the payment of the fees.
• There is an option of late enrollment fee.
