The admissions are announced via advertisement in the leading newspapers and on the net.

The prospectus and application forms for admission in PAQSJ IMS will be available at assigned Banks.

A fee of around PRs.1500 has to be paid for purchasing the application form and additional Rs.1500 are charged for appearing in the entry test and interview.

Application form can also be obtained by courier on the additional payment through draft cheque.

Admission of the students in Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Shah Jilani Institute of Medical Sciences College are conducted in accordance with PM&DC and HEC criteria of eligibility for admission into medical colleges.

The admission procedure is free from any gender and racial bias

Some seats are designated to overseas Pakistani students.

Allocations of seats are as follows:

Eligibility for Admission

60% or more marks in F.Sc examination from any board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan or equivalent international examination is required to apply for the admission.
The applicants have to undergo an entry/aptitude test at PSAQSJIMS.
All local applicants must have qualified the entry test of UHS.
A-level or any international certificate holding students are required to produce equivalence certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) or from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad.
Weightage score will be calculated by the following criteria:
Open Merit
Matric 10%
F. Sc 40%
Entry Test & Interview 50%

Equivalent Certificate (from the Inter- Board Committee of Chairmen, relevant to a foreign qualification)

English Proficiency Certificate (for overseas students)
Character certificate from Head of the institution last attended
Domicile certificate or proof of the nationality
