Academic Programs Offered

AIDM, in particular, runs quite a number of programs that impart both theoretical and practicable knowledge and some appear to be running short of testimonies. For the undergraduate programs, one such is a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), which runs over four years and is indeed running a rigorous program with respect to dentistry. For postgraduate degrees, there is a very vast set for postgraduate studies in dental specialties. AIDM interacts with international institutions, such as the Karolinksa Institute in Sweden, for student and faculty exchange programs geared at upgrading education exposure globally and enhancing experience based learning.

Facilities & Activities

AIDM boasts of the newest, cutting edge facilities dedicated to academics and clinical training. They do have well equipped dental clinics, a clinic should have a dedicated sanitation and some room for the patients with the aim of giving hands on training to their students under expert supervision. With modern preclinical laboratories, students are assured good training in technical skills before going into clinicals where they apply to use these skills practically. The library at AIDM consists of a wide variety of dental research and academic materials. Apart from academics, students are offered great opportunities to attend/hold workshops, seminars, and outreach programs which develop leadership, and learn the art of communication and social responsibilities for the future dentists.
